Understand survivors. Hear their stories.
My Story. My Tears. My Healing.
81% of women and 43% of men have experienced sexual abuse in their lifetime; 1/3 of them were assaulted between age 11 & 17. Everyone has a story to tell.

Victims are often “groomed” into thinking that the assaults are their fault; That they “wanted it” or “caused it”. The lies they believe become the chains that bind them.

The Healing Begins
Once in a PATH Safe House, a survivor can relax, eat, bathe, sleep and put on clean clothes. Sometimes this is the first time in years the survivor has felt cared for.
The Healing Doesn’t Stop There:
Reintegration & Care
Providing care and hope for you, who have been traumatized by prostitution and sexual abuse, is what we love.
Survivor Stories
Brave girls, ages 4-40, tell of the darkness that invaded their lives, and the light that followed.

Samantha’s Story
“My mom called PATH when I was 17 because I got in with a group that started selling me. I was still living at home and didn’t understand what all was happening. I moved into the PATH Safe House when I turned 18 and lived there for about a year but left so I could go back to the group of bad people. Today, several years later, I finally see what I was living in and what was going on. I had called PATH several times over the years but just couldn’t leave, until 4 months ago. Now I am living in a safe place and going to the PATH Center every day. I thank God and PATH for never giving up on me! I still feel embarrassed for what all went on, but I’m at least able to talk about it now.” – Samantha
